- 2 1/2 lb unsalted whipped butter

- 1/2 cup crushed walnuts
- 4 cups flour (sifted)
Soften butter, mix butter in mixer until smooth, Add egg, vanilla, and mix together. Mix confectionery sugar and walnuts into mixer. After all mixed start to add the flour. Start with 3 cups and then add in the rest.
Roll our and flatten and cut at an angle. Bake in ungreased pan at 350F for 15 mins
Take hot cookies and put them on waxed paper and sprinkle with confectionery sugar while hot. Let cool and then place in paper cup holders.
